How to get to Bern?
Bern is easily reachable by plane, train or even bus. If you are flying to Switzerland, any of the main airports will do since Bern is close by (2 h by train) to Basel, Zurich and Geneve. Once at the airport, you can just take a train straight to Bern Bahnhof which is the main station in the city center.
Where can I stay in Bern?
The option recomended by us is the Youth Hostel in Bern, located near the river in the Marzili Neighbourhood. At 15 minutes walking distance to the venue and with breakfast included, it has everything you might need!
How do I register and submit my abstract?
Really easy! Just keep in mind the deadlines in the Registration tab.
Download the template, fill it in, upload it, and don't forget to submit it! Do so before the 1st of April.
Once you have submited the abstract, you can apply for the travel and accomodation grant. The deadline is the 20th of March. Remember that if you want to apply for the grant, the abstract must also be submitted before the 20th of March.
After the 5th of April, if your abstract has been selected, you must proceed with the registration and payment. To do so, you have until the 21st of May.
Once the payment is confirmed, you will receive the final confirmation e-mail.
How can I apply for the travelling and accomodation grant?
This conference is specially thought to be accessible for everyone. If you are a PhD student all you have to do is submit your abstract and your grant application before the 20th of March. Keep an eye on your email after the 24th of March to see if you have been awarded a grant.
Is the registration fee included in the travel and accomodation grant?
No, the registration fee must be paid independently of the grant.

The format of the workshop has been changed to a hybrid format (with on-line and on-site participation) to ensure participation regardless of the government regulations.
